This recent project involved helping a new homeowner rectify a series of poorly completed repairs and alterations left behind by previous contractors.
The work included correctly bricking up an existing window opening and repairing another previously mismanaged window opening before applying a new rendered finish. These areas required careful remedial work to correct both structural and cosmetic issues and achieve a much more professional result.
The project also involved a complete grind-out and repoint of the entire house. Existing mortar was removed using high-efficiency dust extraction equipment, helping to minimise dust while thoroughly preparing the brickwork for the new mortar.
New mortar was then precision gun applied, creating clean, consistent joints and significantly improving the overall appearance of the exterior brickwork.
Rather than simply covering over the previous problems, the work focused on correcting them properly and restoring both the integrity and appearance of the property.
The completed work has transformed the exterior, replacing poor previous alterations with professionally finished brickwork, repaired window openings and consistent repointing throughout.
